Menopause
What Is Menopause?

Menopause is when a woman no longer has periods. It means that the ovaries have stopped releasing eggs and producing estrogen. Menopause is officially diagnosed once a woman has gone 12 months without a period.

What Are The Stages Of Menopause?

Perimenopause: Can begin 8 to 10 years before menopause when the ovaries gradullay produce less estrogen. Women still get their periods and can get pregnant but there is a reduced release of eggs. Women can experience menopause symptoms during this period.

Menopause: Women no longer have menstrual periods.

Postmenopause: Is the stage after menopause. Symptoms gradually begin to ease for some women while symptoms continue to persist for others for decades or longer. Because there is less estrogen in the woman’s body, some may be more prone to heart disease. However, the risk is different for every woman and treatments are available.

What Are The Symptoms Of Menopause?

Some of the most common symptoms are: vaginal dryness, weight gain, depression, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, memory problems, reduced libido, dry skin, mouth, and eyes, increased urination, sore or tender breasts, headaches, racing heart, urinary tract infections (UTIs), reduced muscle mass, and painful or stiff joints.

Menopause Solutions

There are diverse combinations of natural and hormonal treatments that help restore estrogen levels and alleviate discomfort. Through a process of research-backed experimentation, you can find the ideal solutions for your body. Our medications and supplements meet Singapore health authority standards to ensure safety, quality, and effectiveness.

Hormone Replacement Therapy Gel

Because menopause causes a huge decrease in estrogen, using a medication that replaces the estrogen in your body is vital.

This gel is a topical menopause medication that reduces the frequency and severity of hot flushes, urinary symptoms, and vaginal dryness. It also increases mineral-bone density. Topical estrogen treatment is not associated with increased risk of break cancer or VTE.

Simply apply to your skin and wait for absorption.

Progesterone

Like estrogen, progesterone decreases during menopause when there is no ovulation and the menstrual cycle stops.

To counteract this, a progesterone capsule can be used as a treatment to stimulate the flow of estrogen and progesterone and help balance hormones. Taking progesterone tablets with topical estrogen does not increase risk of uterine cancer.
