What Is Priligy?
Priligy is the only approved medication for premature ejaculation (PE)– a condition in which you ejaculate before you want to.
It has been shown to improve ejaculation control in ~80% of men.
How Does Priligy Work?
It improves ejaculation control by increasing your brain’s activity of the neurotransmitter serotonin, responsible for happiness and wellbeing.
This alleviates many of the common causes of PE which include hormonal imbalances, performance anxiety, stress and so forth.
Who Can & Can't Take Priligy?
Most adult men can take Priligy but not recommended if you are over 65 years old.
Priligy is NOT suitable for:
- People with significant heart problems (heart failure, heart valve problems, heart block, etc)
- People with severe kidney or liver problems
- People with a history of fainting
- People with a history of bipolar, mania or hypomania, severe depression, or other psychiatric illness
- People with uncontrolled epilepsy
- People with extreme sensitivity to lactose
How To Take Priligy?
Take one pill 1-3 hours before you want to have sex. Swallow the tablet whole, with at least one full glass of water. Take with or without food.
*Do not take more than one pill within 24 hours.
What Are The Side Effects?
As with any medication, you may experience some side effects, with the most common being feeling dizzy, having a headache, and/or feeling sick.
